I grew up in Berlin, Germany as my father was in the State Department. The avatar is the traditional symbol of Berlin. Many versions, but this one fit best.

I'm a car guy / car enthusiast. My current daily driver car is a Ford Focus ST, which is Ford's high performance version of the Focus.
And since I had taken this picture and already made an avatar image size compliant version for another forum, I just used it here too.

Well the 62 is obviously my birth year. And the tasters choice is mor complicated. When I was growing up in north NJ my best friends father used to say it. When we went to the local store which I hate to say actually had a soda fountain. (Jeez I'm really not THAT old, in mind anyway) they had egg creams and they'd make sodas. So we would always ask each other what we wanted like " tasters choice" figured you could do this with beer also. The Paulener mug with the pretzel is: 1- I have a serious sourdough pretzel addiction and 2- a few years ago I found this mug with a "oil can" size Paulner Oktoberfest inside being sold a a package. Really cool and the beer was actually really good. Never saw it again......

I have a brown cat and an affinity for Lego. I can also be seen frequently in a Black Dahlia Murder shirt.

The minifig was a Christmas present from my girlfriend. It's scary how much it looks like me.

Belvoir Castle (pronouced "Beaver" of course)
The seat of the Dukes of Rutland (who also own Haddon Hall) , it dominates the landscape for miles around hence the name Vale of Belvoir , stuffed full of excellent pubs.
Their other title is Marquis of Granby. Granby is a tiny village in the Vale below the Castle.

The most notable Marquis of Granby was John Manners (1721–1770), son of the third Duke. An accomplished soldier and popular figure of his time, his title was honoured by being used by a large number of pubs throughout Britain. The first of these is believed to be our local one.He set up a lot of his soldiers with pubs hence the name. The towns of Granby, Quebec and Granby, Massachusetts, United States were also named after him.
