What does your BA avatar mean?

Not in crowded post-Renaissance European cities, they weren't. Charnal houses and ossuaries were much more common back then.

It is the x-ray from my daughters first limb lenthening surgery on her tibula with an extenal fixator from 2 summers ago, thought it looked cool.

I have been debating switching to the x-ray from this summers limb lengthening surgery on her femur with the internal nail.

 

My dad was obsessed with this as a kid. My uncle has one currently.

 

And my avatar is me thinking hard about whether or not to go spend my money frivolously on beer or be responsible for once.

 

My avatar is a picture looking out through the windshield of my car where a bird had somehow pooped in the shape of a seagull head.

I swear I didn't alter it a bit.

 

Mine is just me ad my bar in the cellar - when I weighed about 10 pounds less.

Indeed. I also thought it might contain some deep meaning about the cyclical nature of life and death but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

My avatar is a famous photo of '60s F1 racing legend Jim Clark. I grew up a huge racing fan (mostly IndyCar and F1), and although Clark was way before my time, I've just always loved this photo. My username is also racing inspired. The "Targa Florio" was a grueling race around the mountains of Sicily.
