What does your BA avatar mean?

Until recently, it was always just a picture of my namesake:

But then I realized just how opposed I was to awful, pernicious, and dishonest comb-overs, and decided to change it accordingly.

I'll change it back to the original whenever it feels right.

 

True to my word, kind of, this is Teddy, my two year old Airedale, in the back yard of his two standard poodle buds. Photo was taken by one of the owners of the poodles shortly after going to the Keepers of the Craft festival at the BottleHouse.

 

My uncle in law likes to play with Photoshop. He does goofy birthday cards for family members every year.
If I remember correctly he started with a photo of the "most interesting man in the world", added a bit of me. I believe the hair came from William L. Petersen, I don't have much. I would have preceded brunettes though.

The man with the cigarette is my favorite film director, Francois Truffaut. The kid is actor Jean Pierre Leaud, and the other 3 dudes are anyones guess.

 

A protagonist from Stanislaw Lem's "Cyberiad", who is, I quote:

Absolutely nothing. It appeared on my Tumblr feed many, many moons ago and I loved it. Im sure its from some movie, magazine, photographer or whatever thats been lost to the ages, but it still tickles my fancy. Presenting familiar, innocent things in a disturbing, almost too real setting. Happy?
