What does your BA username mean?

Mine is German for "Deer"

 

QCBrewer = Queen City Brewer. Charlotte, NC is known as the Queen City, and I homeBREW...although, not very often anymore these days.

J is for James. Rocco is my middle name. 2021 is because 21 is my favorite number and Sealab 2021 is one of my favorite shows so with the one number I can reference both.

This thread will most likely be nuked. unfortunate because a lot of members have interesting SN's and it would be cool to hear what's behind them. One of my favorites is LambicPentameter.

For what it's worth, my user name is the first one I ever created back in 1996 (ESPN Fantasy games). As a recent grad of Mississippi State (Bulldogs), I just picked that plus my age (25 at the time, so you do the math...). I was also a pretty big basketball fan and my favorite MSU player at the time was a #25, Erick Dampier. There you go - not beer related, but I'm in no mood to change it now.

utopiajane is form a little blurb on my profile and because back in college I used to joke the guys that they loved beer the way that tarzan loved jane. "ujane?" get it?

 

I wasn't trying to be cynical but I've seen threads like this before and they never stayed on track for very long. I hope it does stay around though I like hearing about the people that make up our community.

Maybe to keep some beer-related content each new post could add a favorite beer style or similar . Just saying, we'll try to keep this unlocked for as long as possible (i.e. avoid "nuking") because I agree it's kinda fun to read some of the backgrounds for user names, especially the odd/obscure ones...

 

Mine is for the Commodore 64, my first PC, it's what got me into computer geekery and it always seems beer makes programming that much better
