What does your BA username mean?

mine is my First name plus the unit i served in the 82nd Airborne Division. 2/325 AIR

I used to be a DJ. DJ name was DJ Aeon. Started using that as my screen name for everything back then, so just kept it. I was still an active club DJ when I joined BA.

As requested, favorite beer style: Russian Imperial Stouts, Baltic Porters, and Barleywines.

 

I'm a bestselling author. Haknort is an anagram of my last name.

 

Mine comes from what my dad used to call me when I was little. I am not sure why, but it seemed to amuse him to add the latin-like ending to plain old Sean. When I first showed up on BA many years ago, however, someone asked whether it was for Sean-IBUs, suggesting I was a fan of extremely bitter beers. And it isn't and I'm not (ok, I like more than a few IBUs in my brew, but it's not a fetish).

 

You and me both! There just simply should be no other definitions for "shredder"!

Mine is from the name of the Bar I owned when I lived in the Dominican Republic for a few years. Always thought it was such a fitting name down there.

 

Nickname of the great Harry Flashman.

 

Mine is a take on the old phrase "jeepers creepers". I participated in my first Jeep Jamboree which took us through a section of the Oak Ridge Mountains in Tennessee in 2004. It was a blast, but you literally "creep" though a good section of the terrain; hence the name creepinjeeper. I thought it had kind of metal sound to it, too.

The avatar? BIG Jerry Lewis fan ever since I was a little guy, and The Nutty Professor is his classic. Instead of anticipating the beaker full of potion that transforms him in to the suave Buddy Love, I like to think he's admiring a perfect pour of the brew that started me lurking here on (and transformed me into a) BA - Founders Breakfast Stout!

My last name is Stauber which led to the nickname Staubs turning into Stubs.

My best friend after a couple to many started calling me stubface and then just added Joe to it. I thought it was amazing and have used it on things since.

Fav style is rare limited and seasonal.

I am a Univ. of Florida alumn and a passionate Gator fan so my SN is fairly obvious. And when Gator fans pass each other on the street, they don't say hello or how are you, but Go Gators!!!
And it seems I am not the only crazy Gator fan on this site as I see numerous UF or Gator names every day.
(If there is another school more represented on here than U of F, I'd like to see evidence).

means nada, picked it because long ago in MUDS a short easy name to remember made those game easier. It carried over to Ultimaonline then to everquest and then to WOW. was for macro's and its easier to get groups if you first on the list when folks searched for class of toon to from one. WOW changed that up. Its also since I been on the net longer than most, we knew even then anonymous is better than real name.s it was why FTP allowed anonymous file transfers, but email did not.
it was changed from yzor, a old AD&D game name. dates me.....

azor means lots of things btw. my first screen names were that shorter one.
