Everyone: Just a reminder to keep the photos "on topic"... non-beer photos/videos/etc. don't fly in other threads (except "What beer are you drinking now?"), so we can't bend/break those rules here... thanks, B

Spanish for the skinny boy. I've used it since high school for random things. It's a lie, on account of the beer I think...

Well, when I was younger, my friends and I started referring to those who had a few too many dinks as "stiffingtons." As in, "that guy had too many stiff drinks." Hmm. Then for some reason, I added "Dr." to it when I used it here.

This is going to be tl;dr but:

The Trystero is a fictional mail delivery service in Thomas Pynchon's "Crying of Lot 49". They started up to compete with and destroy The Princely House of Thurn and Taxis who actually did run one of the first mail services in Europe in the 1600s. According to legend to this day by painting a muted post horn on a trash can or any other receptacle it turns it into a Trystero mailbox.

My name is very special to me. Chester is a name that my buddy used to jokingly call me. That buddy was killed in 2008. I hated the name at the time but afterwards I started to appreciate it with pride. The Hop means that I'm a hophead . RIP Vlad.

The name comes from a group of fans/friends/supporters/promoters of the guitarist/singer/songwriter Monte Montgomery of Austin/San Antonio, TX. We are known as "Montiacs." I've lost count of how many shows I've seen, but I know it's less than fifty. Some folks have been to 500+. Monte's style of guitar playing is as unique as his life story. Every guitar player has his/her idol and he's mine. Best part is - he's accessible and I get to sit and talk with him every now and then. I've used the handle elsewhere and people always think I'm crazy for canned goods or work for Del Monte, lol! Oh and the avatar? Seems like I couldn't get a pic of Monte's beat up Alvarez guitar to work for some reason. So, there ya go. I'm a fan boy...of Monte and beer alike.
