My son saw a rocky and bullwinkle cartoon when he was 3 and said "that crazy 4 leg moose." It cracked me up and I found beer advocate shortly after that and used it as my name. He is pictured in my avatar.

Dreadnaught broke my cherry into the craft beer world, zombie dust had me at hello. Happy to travel to get em' out of state, I can be there in 42 minutes. Like the pimp says to his ho's............"keep em' coming"

 

If you've ever watched "mumbles" on youtube, you would understand. This guy pretends to have this ridiculous southern accent and mixes in wacky/babbling phrases to confuse the hell out of total strangers. Check it out, its hilarious:

Well my name is Storm and I like the number 21 so yeah. Haha nothing too fancy.

 

It means I ride the mysterious magical Michigan flying beer blanket.

 

My name is Curt but oddly enough I'm not from Hershey nor do I live in Hershey. Let that stew a while.

 

I live in PA and do a lot of hunting, mostly for deer. Also I enjoy hunting fine craft beer.

 

I'm a teacher and I work in Arizona.

 

Back in boy scouts we had one leader who would frantically and aggressively wave the scout sign with both hands trying to get people to be quiet, and I started responding with the Nixon-getting-on-the-chopper pose. From there I just thought it was a fun name to use and go by it most places it's available.

I'm happy with it every time I see a reply like "I agree with Nixon," or "You don't know what you're talking about, Nixon."

 

I do a bit of homebrewing and all my brews are zombie themed.... Clarification for those who will presume I really like Zombie Dust. yes, thats a 3F avatar, i do love ZD, but I enjoyed zombies and homebrewing long before the beer was released.

make mine random-- pretty much my approach to beer, and to life. When at a bar with a decent selection, I typically ask the bartender to surprise me for the first beer. As long as don't throw down an MBC, and preferably offer an intelligent explanation for why they chose the beer that they did, I'll continue letting them choose the brews. It's a good way to make friends with the bartender, and it keeps me from migrating to my go-to beers too often.

 

I put two awesome things together: beer 'n' wizards. Who knows who's running the show now?
