What does your BA username mean?

What's in a name? Frankly, it was my attempt to fit in with the gen Y kids that wear t-shirts with ironic messages like, "#1 Grandad," or "STRYPER." I realize that most of the irony is lost on the gen y, but for those who are my age and grew up watching 80's tv, ol' Colt was some quality. It was nice to see Lee Majors rebound after Farah also.

Last name is Wright... mashed into mistaryte... been pretty much using it since mid 90's.

Story: had MR RYTE on my license plate at one time. My soon-to-be wife at the time thought I might be a raging jackass for such a personalized plate. Once she knew my last name was Wright, she thought it was "clever".

So every business I start, I name after my little buddy, Little Dog.

 

From the book Ender's Game. There was a character called Fly Molo. Mine's a little different obviously, but that was the inspiration for it.

 

ThomasMetal75 has stuck with me on social media for a while. My real name is Erik. My nickname is Thomas. An old buddy of my some friends, while "under the influence", forgot my name and though I looked like a Thomas. I love heavy metal music, and my house number is 75. I thought way back when AOL Instant Messager was popular adding numbers to your name was the thing to do.
