What establishment has the world's largest beer selection?

Haha! I felt the same way when I was there: overwhelmed! After looking through the book for 15 minutes, I just said 'Fantome'. He went to the cooler and returned with about 12 different Fantomes.

 

The Yard House in downtown Cincinnati has over 100 beers on tap. Awesome place. For a store, the Jungle Jim's in Eastgate, Ohio has a massive selection. I spend almost an hour just looking around at all the beer.

 

Great, now I have to go to Wllton next time I am back he in Maryland. There goes a paycheck...

 

And pages that are full of shitty Asian/African beers. The Delirium Cafe is a notorious tourist trap. Beer fans who know Brussels avoid it and head to the many better aternatives.

 

It's cool to see a gargantuan beer selection, but you gotta be on the lookout for relics which can be tough with funky date codes or none at all. I tend to get excited and forget to even look sometimes.

 

The El Baitshop in Des Moines, IA is a great bar with great food and has 185 beers on tap!

 

I've never seen a store with 1,000+ beers. Sounds like heaven, but is there issues with freshness? I'm not too far from louisville I might have to check out Sergio's

 

Beers of Europe in Norfolk is said to stock over 2000 different craft beers from 60 countries.
Often driven past it , never tempted to visit because it's all bottled or canned.In a county blessed with a decent pub every mile or so, why bother?

 

Half Time, in Mamaroneck NY, is kinda big.

 

I've been to Sergio's and freshness is definitely an issue. There are plenty of items to choose from and some of which come with a higher than normal price tag.

Although it is not large, nor is it spacious enough to wander through the aisles two-by-two, Cable Beverages in Bardonia, NY has a ton of variety.

 

Sergios is crazy. There is no way to know how many beers he has at any given point.
I have found beers over 10 years old while there. Its like picking, but with beer.

 

First time I was at cable I was sort of surprised how tiny it was after hearing all the praise. That place has so much awesome stuff crammed in though I love it. I also like how they post what new stuff they get in everyday.

 

For a franchise The Yard House has about 100-120 beers on tap, to go along with a rude, annoying and un-informed staff... the one in does Greenville anyway

 

It also helps to ask if you don't see something on the shelf. Amazingly the guys there seem to know where to dig in the wall of cases to find something.

 

Their website does say "World's Largest Selection of Beer". Haven't been to that one but their Poughkeepsie location is closer to me and I want to get there soon.

 

My favorite bar! I don't know of any with over 185 on tap, plus only one is macro.

That's too much beer. I wonder how much of that wastes away on the shelves until its eventually (hopefully) replaced

The most notable thing is they pay especially close attention to quality and freshness.

 

Half Time is the biggest store I have shopped.
