I see that barrel aged seltzer are now a thing, I always figured that brewers made seltzers for non beer drinkers who tag along to the brewery with their beer drinking friends, but it seems like some tap rooms actually take seltzers seriously. Have you ever talked to the brewers at the places you go about seltzers? I wonder if they personally like them or is it just a necessary evil?
To make matters worse, reading that you had to basically quit beer inspired me to cut back on my consumption. My rationale was that if I cut back now, I wouldn’t end up like Cave Dave and have to totally quit in the future.
