    Hampton Inn on Oakland in Forest Park is the place.

    It’s connected to Mac’s Local Eats. One of the best burgers in STL.

    Check out Dogtown. Heavy Riff Brewing. Nomad up there with Mac’s burgers.

    HI also walkable to Modern Brewery. Great spot. Great beer.

    Laumeir definitely worth a… look.

    Had one of my favorite meals ever at Balkan Treat Box - ĆEVAPI

    We went to Laumeier to kill some time on a cloudy day, and the sun made an unexpected appearance for a couple of hours. Wouldn't call it a must-see, but was a nice break from the city for a little while.
