What is Founder's up to?

Breakfast stout should be up there tomorrow. Is that a class 2 beer?

 

Likely saving up beer for Artprize. This summer has been tough on them due to being so busy.

 

Hit the local meijer up for a better selection.

 

Oh, look, a core selection. They've probably been busy keeping up with demand and haven't had the time to brew the fun stuff.

 

It's actually been like that for a few weeks...Devil Dancer was the only Class 3 on tap for weeks, then it went off and it hasn't been replaced by anything. Just a slow period, I guess. Lil' Saplin' was on last week (two month barrel-aged Backwoods Bastard w/ extra oak), but it blew in less than a day.

Nice to see this thread. Planning a mini road trip and taking the GF there for her first time on Friday and she loves FBS. A Class 3 would be nice to see also. I was really hoping Dark Penance would be on tap early but I guess that's wishful thinking.

I would be disappointed if I visited and that was the tap list. Can get everything with ease except the Mosaic Promise, which sounds really good but not a must have.

While all very good beers, they're all basically available in store for about 9.99 a sixer. I wouldn't go out of my way for these and that's unfortunate as there are several other breweries within 10 miles that I can get a similarly quality beer that I can't find easily find in stores. Maybe they're waiting for harvest ale and harvest party or artprize to release anything special?

 

I was up there last week, had a pint of Red's Rye and three pints of water. One on the worst tap lists I have seen from them. Thank god for Vivant and Harmony picking up the slack, Vivants taplist was pretty damn stacked.

last time I went in there, Dave Engbers punched me in the face and stole my jacket.

 

I was there on Friday. Was told they're basically keeping taps open to release some specialty stuff during ArtPrize. That being said, I think FBS and Dark Penance will be on soon. (FBS releasing in town today.) Hopefully they're bringing out some good stuff next week.
