Visiting DC next weekend for first time after moving to Chicago a year ago. What is new on the beer scene that I should check out?

Staying in Dupont area, planning to hit a few old favorites - Smoke & Barrel, Black Squirrel, Meridian Pint, Right Proper...also hoping to make it over to Bluejacket. Any great new spots for beer? Any particular local drafts I should be looking for?

    Thanks!

Not new, but I would add Churchkey to the very top of the list. It's an absolute must. Your other thoughts above are really good ones as well. Throw in some Pizza Paradiso for good measure. Maybe hit 3 Stars, DC Brau or the Atlas tasting rooms on Saturday?

Over a year not too much has changed, except a few places you already have mentioned. The old standards as mentioned time and time again never fail in DC.

DC Brau canned a bunch of OTWOA on 2/23. will still be pretty fresh.

Heavy Seas has added an alehouse/restaurant to the Rosslyn (VA) "drinking scene" No brewing but many of their brews on tap.
