Wanted to see if anyone had a trade involving Rare D.O.S recently. I know they did very limited growlers of Rare a while back as well as small flip top bottles for the RareR release? (Just RareR bottles maybe?)

This is by far my top want, so any trading feedback would be much appreciated or when the next release may be.

    Cheers,
    Isaac

Just RareR. Any growlers of Rare that have made it out have been friends or under-the-table type deals. Rare has never been officially released to go.

That's what I was thinking....thanks for the info. If anyone has had a trade involving a RareR, I would appreciate to hear what the trade involved.

I've heard of people self pouring already served glasses into swing tops. Not sure if that's true or not. I know I was at barrel aged day last year and only RareR was given out in flip tops. Either way if you can find it you are a lucky man. It's my favorite stout (and possibly my favorite beer) to date.

there were only 25 fliptops of RareR released i believe. about the same amount of Batch 100 as well (which is equally good). Rare DOS has never been released to-go in any official manner.

If you find any, it was hand bottles from people who poured it from glasses they ordered, or it was from a leftover keg that someone was able to go home with after an event. if you got a bottle, odds are you know someone who could pull that off, as that type of shit typically does not get re-traded.

    dsgolovin,
Probably because it was hand bottled and not properly sanitized. It's actually a great beer when bottled correctly. Send me a BM and if they ever do growlers of it I will get you one.
