To me, the idea of "winning the trade" and "maximizing value" is a side of trading that I find completely unappealing. I've been fortunate early on here, to have had some trading partners drop awesome boxes on me and the communication and developing friendships are what makes trading such a blast. I don't think about value for the most part but about trying great beers that I've never tried before or have had and loved but have no other access to. When I'm packing up a box, I'm not thinking about what I can get in return but about how I can make my trading partner smile when he opens it. And when a box is on its way to me, I remember how it felt to be a little kid with Christmas right around the corner. There are very few other places I get these feelings. If my first trading experiences had been with people who were concerned with winning the trade, I probably wouldn't be addicted like I am now. Of course, my wallet would be heavier then too.

I think this section is for some of us jokers to get on here and release steam so that the ISO:FT posts don't get too stupid...

It's like a peanut gallery, we can all point and laugh and argue discuss without doing it in someone's search (and we can do it without ruining our likes/post ratio).

How do i know this is true? because i used to lurk in the ISO:FT thread to seek soap-opera entertainment, now i come here

Are you high? Beer and drama are like peanut butter and jelly, Thelma and Louise, and other stuff that is always together.
