    Short version: BIF is like doing a Secret Santa, for beer. LIF is a beer giveaway.

    Someone posts a New BIF Offering NBO,

    Establishes the rules, like the current stout BIF

    "Here are the details:
    • 144 oz minimum
    • Beers must be listed on Beer Advocate as a Stout, American Stout, Russian Imperial Stout, etc..
    • Beers must have a minimum rating on Beer Advocate of 85 or higher.
    • Try to hit wants if possible, or beers that otherwise may not be available to your target(seekabrew.com)
    • Noobs are welcomed but will be required to ship out one week earlier than everyone else & may require a sponsor
    shipping window is April 5th-11th, giving a little bit over a month to gather beers"

    The people sign up, the the pairings are assigned by the organizer, usually by location. You only know who to send to, not who is sending to you.

    Send those extra sump to @Kylo76 to get some more trades under your belt

    lmao the sump is all gone...someone picked the last 3 up today, but idk seems a little much for me, ill just stand back and keeping a update on these forums and maybe one day... but thanks for the information
