I see that a lot of folks out in BA country love or would love to try Westbrook Gose...It's all over the place here...it comes in 6 pack cans, so if I want to propose a trade, would I offer only one can or the whole sixer, also, it's about $9-10 for the sixer, do I ask for something in a similar price range? I've only made one trade here and it was bomber for bomber

I don't want to piss anyone off by doing somthing against trading protocol

Yes, you should offer to trade it by the 6-pack. Trading singles wouldnt make any financial sense, in terms of shipping. Some folks might even want more than 1 6-pack.

It should trade at equal $ value for other locally available desirable shelf beers.

Personally, I'd recommend you just put together a list of stuff you're interested in getting, and include it in the post. Lots of people want to trade for Gose (luckily I have a steady pipeline, so I've already gone through about a case of it this year) so you might get some good offers.

    Cheers!

FT: Westbrook Gose ISO: (insert whatever you want here)

Then in the text of your post, just explain you have access to as much WB Gose as the person would like. Ask them to BM you to discuss the details.

    Easy peasy:slight_smile:

    Westbrook gose is delicious.
I'd recommend trading a six pack or two, $4$ with limited or shelf beers out of your distro that you want to try.
I threw them in as extras all summer and people loved them.
If you are worried about "pissing people off" then try researching he value of what you are looking to trade for prior to posting.

As an aside, the nice thing about this for you, OP, is that cans are the easiest thing in the world to ship. Nice and light, very little chance of breaks/leaks. Throw an FT/ISO up there, and you'll have something in no time -- just figure out what you'd like to ask for!

Like @kmello69 said, you may wanna see if you can make it two sixers or something, just to make it worth your while shipping cost-wise. WB Gose has pretty solid demand, I think, so you shouldn't have much trouble finding an interested party (depending on what you're looking for yourself).

Just an FYI @tlema1, be careful on overselling your quantity of Gose, as production I believe stops this month. While it is easy to find now, it will be gone or mostly gone within a month until March/April. Or just go ahead and stock up now.

I think trading a $10 6pk for a $10 6pk is a waste of shipping cost. It's a very small increase in shipping cost from shipping 6 cans to shipping 12 or 18 cans. I'd say FT: 12-18 Westbook Gose; ISO: List of beers, $4$. In the post, list the beers you want that aren't overly difficult for people in the area to get from the brewery or usual distribution channels. Good luck!

Taking a look at your wants, I'd do something like this

FT: Westbrook Gose x18 (maybe a small add on this end)

    ISO: Prairie Bomb! x4

I feel like this is miles off.
But maybe I'm biased towards gose

$4$ that trade is pretty close, going on the $7-9 range for Bomb! That's the only way I ever trade and I feel the most fair way.

I'm not one to lie about the price of beer. It's been distributed here for two weeks now. $3.49/bottle. No shit.
