If I get in the car and drive to the store to prove to some tool in California that I'm not lying on a beer forum about the price I paid for a single bottle of beer, it needs to be worth my while. How about this, I'll send you a picture of the price; if it reads, $3.49/each for Prairie Bomb, you send me $50 worth of shelf beers from California. If I can't produce it within 1 hour, I send you $100 worth of Westbrook Gose.

Deal?

 

All I can tell you is that @wcu80 is as stand up a guy as there is. If he says it is $3.49 a bottle I bet it is. I also believe that @FATC1TY has said the same thing.

That being said I would buy cases of it at that price.

Bomb! is indeed under $4 in GA.

I bought a case, there was THAT much that came to GA. I asked if they were low and the guy shook his head.

I bought an entire case, for around $80-81 bucks I think it was. I got a $4 or $5 dollar discount for the case for whatever reason as well.

@wcu80 isn't making it up. Price is similar across the state, as people have reported getting it for the same price 4 hours away on the coast.

Now, if this price was a mistake, or a special, then I can't comment. I've seen it for around $6-15 as the going rate. Their distro isn't huge, so it varies in the areas, and you don't have a ton to go by.

For reference, I didn't know what Bomb! went for when I was in the store, and saw $3.49 for the singles on the shelf. I was expecting $8 in my mind for whatever reason.

Not a shelf turd in GA, but it's plentiful for now, I'd expect it to trade $4$, or atleast on the same line as world class beers local to each partner.

I mean, if we use the Gose- Bomb! example, it would be roughly 2:1 Gose for Bomb if we went $4$. Most people wouldn't do that trade, so I get where people scream foul based on the cost we have here in GA.

This was the price I paid at two different locations and was the sane price in Atlanta. If a mistake it is a huge one.

Yes, that's 12.95 for a single Bomb. Granted that was the worst price I've ever seen it here, it's usually $10-11 bucks a bottle.
