For me, it would have to be not necessarily the best, but the most important beers of my time spent drinking

Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar (the one that brought me in)
Firestone Pale 31 (the everyday staple)
    Rochefort 10 (the game changer)
Firestone Parabola (the best, to me at least)

Not my favorites by any means, but would be on the mountain.

Bearing in mind that my experience is pitifully limited...

    Rochefort 8
    Jack's Abby 2nd Anniversary
    Old Rasputin
    Tank 7

With an honorable mention given to a beer that I have a great deal of personal affection for, as it was arguably my introduction to the world of beer beyond Sam Adams Boston Lager etc.--Ipswich Oatmeal Stout.

Order doesn't matter on my monument:

    Fou Foune
    Heady Topper
    Alesmith BA Wee Heavy
    Oxbow BA Farmhouse Pale Ale

I would be an extremely happy man if I could drink each of those regularly...

I've viewed this thread a few times and am intrigued by it. Most replies are basically what your favorites are. I think this could go a few ways. Breweries that have a big impact of the beer scene, Brewers with the same impact, top beer from current popular styles (ie heady for the DIPA, WestyXII for a belgian, etc...) I lean towards the top beer from each style. So mine would be as follows...

    Pale- Zombie Dust
    IPA/DIPA- Pliny the Elder
    Belgian- Westy XII
    Stout- BCBS

    Southern Tier 2XIPA
    Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald
    Victory Prima Pils
    Troegs Hopback Amber Ale

No BA or RIS or anything crazy. But all are solid beers, nice variety, good price point, available year round to me where I live, and are relatively local. (Within 2-3 hours of me)

BCBS (preferably with a few years on it, but fresh is good too)
    Unicorn Galaxy (ETA, Pipeworks?)
Sucaba (thought about Central Waters BBBW with some age on it, just to have an all Midwest list, but Sucaba is too good)
TBD (Probably something sour, I just had Upland's Sour Reserve #3, I'm tempted to put that, just wish I had more than one bottle.)

If I'm truly considering a Mount Rushmore (historically speaking), I would have to separate it into modern and historical categories.

    Modern:

    Närke Kaggen Stormaktsporter
    Pliny the Younger
    Founders CBS
    Midnight Sun M
    * Sam Adams Millennium

    Historical:

    Alexander Rodenbach
    Hürlimann Samichlaus
    Eldridge Pope Thomas Hardy Ale
    Barclay Perkins Russian Imperial Stout
    * Benskins Colne Spring Ale (pre-Ind Coope)

    * close 5th
