Always a session IPA. Founders All Day is always attractive in those cheap 15 packs. Lower abv helps keep the mowing lines straight.

Hard to imagine right about now...

Anyway, last summer, (for a MN spin) it was Utepils Copacetic, Summit EPA, and Surly Rising North.

"All of 'em" - for spring/summer/fall, but I usually have a case of Celebration Ale sitting in the garage as winter begins (why bother bringing it inside to the beer fridge in the mud room when the garage floor keeps it at the correct temp?) and it is the beer I find myself most often drinking direct from the bottle, inside the garage during a break in the snowblowing the driveway. Something about SNCA that just cuts through the exhaust of the machinery... esp. when I'm using old 2-cycle Toro...

All Day IPA by choice, but many times it's Sam Adams cause everyone who comes over brings the seasonal packs.

SNPA is the perfect garage/beach/bowling beer (light and volume are stressed), but if I was getting my hands dirty and really working hard I'd probably drink water during and hop bombs to celebrate.

I always keep some "easy drinking beers" in my fridge, which actually is in the garage. And most of the time I sit in the open garage door to drink them. Pretty often friends stop by. I always have something like Founders All Day, SN Pale Ale, an assortment of local stuff and some of the more common shelf IPA's. Usually a few sours too! I even have a Bud Lite or two hidden in the bottom for my less discriminating friends! I have a cabinet with several beer glasses in the garage, a few openers, ect.
