What is your highest-rated beer?

    Hmm... One week old Sucks was honestly one of my highest rated beers ever 4.9, along with 2 week old Space Cake by Clown shoes 4.8, and Grapefruit Sculpin 4.8. Founders Double trouble, and A little sumpin sumpin EXTRA by Lagunitas were all in the high 4.8/4.9s as well. Too many good beers, just TOO many.

    I don't give 5's, I can't imagine what 'perfect' would be in any of the categories. It's the unattainable. It's like saying there's such thing as a perfect movie, or a perfect song. They can be perfect for the moment, but in my opinion, they can't be perfect all around. Also agree with the idea of ratings per style.
    To me, JuJu is the best IIPA, but the all around best beer, to me, is Rochefort 10.

    Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier Marzen, just took over top spot for me last week...4.68 rating.
    Man did I love this beer. Now I absolutely adore smoked fish, and, did I ever get a craving for some drinking this!!! Even the better half loved this, and, she is hit and miss on a lot of my faves.

    I've given a few beers a 5 rating, so I'll go with my favorite of them, One Coffee Candle. @rollom Cory did not let me down.

    Witch's Hat Bourbon Barrel DragonTrax. 4.96. Simply a divine beer. Amazing flavors. One of the best flavored stouts around.

    I'm tied at the top between CBS, mainly because of the maple addition which just kills it, and Black Note which I think is the best integrated BA stout there is. Both have a 4.79 I believe so maybe I'm tough on all beers I rate...

    Currently, Parabola - 2015 is my highest rated beer. Personally, I do not think there are any perfect 5's. Nothing is perfect, there is no perfect beer, it cannot be defined. Just my opinion.

    Hair of the Dog Matt 2013.

    I'm lucky enough to live 1.5 miles from the brewery and can have a bottle onsite whenever I please. After almost 1,500 ratings I'm still amazed every time I have this beer that nothing else comes close in flavor, complexity and mouthfeel (Deal with the Devil b1 actually came close).

    Hoegaarden is a 4.96 for me, for some pretty awesome reasons. Dark Horse Plead the 5th is not far behind it at 4.94.
