No set budget for beer, I usually find I'm limited by "new" selection more than anything else.
I tend to buy in spurts, I've bought 20-30 bombers and singles in a single purchase. I think the most I've spent so far (that I can remember) in one visit is over $500 for three Utopias:grinning:
I know that I've spent over a $1000 in one week, it was a good week--I too am blessed with a good job and lifelong commitment to healthy finances, thus allowing me to now enjoy the fruits of my labor!

In which case, the next question is: is your company is hiring?

Try to visit the bottle shop weekly to see what's available. How much I spend depends on whether my good bourbon needs replenishing or not!

Hahaha, most likely you wouldn't want any of the jobs I could offer:grinning:and they don't pay as well as my position--I'm the owner:slight_smile:

Q: What is your weekly beer allowance?

A: Likely to change after I win the Mega Millions $241 million jackpot tonight.

on my income what works best is buying a case per pay (everyother week) from 25-40. and about a sixer a week. 10-15 so thats 25-30 a week. and always seems to yeild leftovers to create a great variety.

Oddly enough, when I drank shitty beer, I spent more than I do now. It would be nothing to go to the bar and drop $40 on beer and food twice a week. Now I spend about $15 a week with occasional special bottles. Though I find that what qualifies as special keeps getting easier and easier to attain...

I might spend $5/week? I usually only have one or two beers each week and I don't buy anything all that rare or expensive. Spent a little more recently since we moved to a new place and I discovered a local liquor store that has some really great sales, but I'm still not having more than a beer a day.

Usually around $20 to get me through the week. Probably $60 on the weekends

What my "allowance" is, and what I spend, are 2 completely different things.

i think there was a post about this before. guy's wife was complaining about how much of his income he was spending on beer.. which was roughly 1.13% every too weeks. dont recall what it amounted to.

anyway depends on what i see.. last week it was 90, this week its 30 - out of state pick up. sometimes its none.

We used to do ~$20 a week for table beer and $20 a week for limited release bottles, but now we've cut out the wales in favor of saving for summer festivals and travel.

I try to keep it to around $50 a month, so maybe around $10-$15 per week. Any that is not used up goes to the next month, and if I go over, I deduct from the next month. It's a decent way to keep my spending to a minimum (oh why is craft beer so expensive in Alberta!?)

$50 in the beer budget every month, another $50 if I choose to spend my personal money which normally happens.
