I havent broken anything crazy but i hear that people drop cases of Dark Lord at Dark Lord Day like its their job. there are pics on the net of entire cases meeting their bitter end on the parking lot asphalt due to drunken box handling. i thought everyone knew to hold cases by the bottom.

    i guess not

Kind of like a HoJo's on Sunday morning I'll wager. At least you were spared the horror of actually drinking it.

I haven't dropped any bottles, but I did have about $150 worth of liquor confiscated by campus security from my dorm room fridge. That day sucked.

I don't know if he was directly responsible, but it was one of the Patron Sinners beers, so I expected a bit higher quality.

I brewed an Imperial stout once, it took over 6 months before I was ready to tap it. I drank 4 or 5 pints of it over a 2 week stretch, then one day the keg was empty. I opened my keezer and there was my 4.5 gallons of Impy stout, sloshing around the bottom of the kegerator. A little forensic research found a tiny, almost invisible crack in an o-ring that let all my beer AND a bottle of CO2 leak out into the kegerator.

Trying anything from White Birch. God their wilds taste like sweaty gym socks.

in college our mini-fridge was set too cold, and we had a few growlers of wormtown something-or-other in there that ended up freezing and breaking through the glass... cleanup wasn't terrible but it sucked losing all that beer.

I just got a four pack of KBS, and was putting a couple of them away into my cellar which was a shelf 2 inches off the basement floor, i slipped and broke a bottle of KBS and mopped it up and drank what i could of it.

No accidents yet. I've had the occasional spill or gusher, but nothing major and never a broken bottle.

An RIS homebrew. Came out a flat syrupy beer. I chalk it up to a learning experience.

I once dropped a bottle of Samuel Adams Cranberry Lambic. And there was much rejoicing.

My rather large dog broke a rather pricey bottle at the Greenville Beer Exchange during a shopping trip. From the Belgian section. The woes of an overzealous tale.

I ordered a NB Prickly Passion Saison at Sams Quik Shop against the advice of the genius workers.
