What music do you listen to while brewing?

Pretty much anything where people wail on their instruments and sound very angry. It's oddly soothing to me.

 

Usually, no music at all. I like listening to the hiss of the propane, the bubbling of the wort, the tweeting of whatever bird is floating by. It's all very meditative for me.

 

I usually listen to a variety, and I actually put it into my notes because that's how detailed my damn brew day notes usually are.

I exclusively listen to my brew buddy berate me for 5-6 hours straight. The hardest part is not laughing at his jokes about me. He's British and sarcastic, and I hate him sometimes.

 

Rock, funk, electronic and metal. Really, anything besides rap and country is ok with me.

 

If I listen to music at all, probably Gregorian Chant. Otherwise talk radio or podcasts.

 

It varies. Bob Mould for the last brew. He seems like he would be a cranky homebrewer.

 

old school

a lot of 60,s, 70's like skynerd, CDB, old Lou Reed, cream, CCR, zeplin and Derick and the Dominoes.
But,,,,,, when I am at the art foundry,,,,,, Glennie, the owner, plays Devil makes Three and other "militant folk" songs from Pandora. When he is not looking there I will play Government Mule and Black Lable society.

Basic Brewing or more recently, The Sour Hour

 

I'm listening for drones.

 

I'll put the radio on and flick between channels. Sometimes music, sometimes sport depending whats on and sometimes speech based current affairs/factual etc.

Drones are perfectly legal to shoot down so long as you use a crossbow. Uh, Officer.

 

Usually nothing. I'm usually multi-tasking with other outdoor projects when I'm between brewing tasks. During baseball season I do usually have a game on the radio while brewing.

I like listening to 60s, 70s, 80s...pretty much classics. Can't go wrong with some Zeppelin, Van Halen, and Justin Bieber.
