What no weekend thread?

Um, I bought 20 Blue Weihenstephans today..

 

I drank far too much at the Euston Tap last night. Think I'll give my liver a few days amnesty.

 

It certainly looks..... interesting.

 

hitting the Kernel tomorrow to grab some beers to take for Philly Beer week in the first week of June and then hitting Craft with a buddy to see what they have. Might have a cheeky couple tonight- got a few Brewdogs in the fridge...

 

I wish I could get "into" the more aley/craft side of things, but I'm stuck on my wheatbeers. I'll occasionally dabble with some innis&gunn or some banana bread but I dunno... Am I too immature to appreciate anything more.. beardy?!

Several pints of the Mallinson's single-hop (think it was columbus?); several pints of the Arbor IPA; a pint of Magic Rock High-Wire; a pint of Dark Star Sussex Stout; a pint of Saison Dupont; and one or two others I don't remember. You?

So far this evening I've had a Carling Zest - the thinking man's Corona

Bloody hell how were you still standing? I had a pint of the Arbor full of beans mild which was all my wallet could take Had a decent pint across the road at the Bree Louise though too.

 

Sorry for the late start fellas. I was out talking to the neighbours. Looks like I'll be starting and ending with my last bottle of Aecht Schlenterla Eiche Doppelbockdrunk from my Traquair House Ale tankard. In fact I'm enjoying it as I type. Just one for me tonight as I'm working all weekend.

 

Good lord, that doppelbock is just going down too quickly. Think I'll join you for another with a can of Gold Label.

 

Is Gold Label any good? I'd always assumed it was to keep the homeless warm at night

 

I think Zimbo's trying to recreate the Gold Label of the past when it was apparently much better. Or he's bedding down for the night on a piss-stained burnt mattress.
