Agreed. Plus these delivery services have notoriously bad business practises and outrageous fees.

I ordered from Firestone Walker on Friday. They're using GoTab, which was very easy to use. I didn't have to download an app, I didn't get hit with absurd fees, and I was able to add a custom tip and pickup time to my order. Learn more: https://gotab.io/info/about

We use Toast as our POS and the online menu / ordering system was setup in a just few days. Toast is even offering the service for free for a while. They have been great. We use it for online non-contact takeout orders now ... maybe deliver by our employees (with beer delivery) soon.

Anyone doing beer delivery now ... How to you check IDs thoroughly in a non-contact (6ft away) way. Any other delivery advice appreciated.

The 30% Grubhub, DoorDash, adn Uber eats is more than the profit in our kitchen, so it seems like a great way to lose money.

We are doing beer delivery and we just set up a square portal on our site for orders. It's technically a separate POS so it's adds in some time where we have to manually enter and comp out any internet orders in order to keep track of inventory, but it's ok. One of the co-owners does all the deliveries so I'm not sure how he is checking IDs.

100% agree. We recently switched over to SpotOn for our processing and with all this going on they also offered us online ordering from our website for free. Lot of orders still coming through 3rd party but really helps not losing the 30% on a good portion of our orders! Our rep was our bar manager for almost 8 years so let me know if you'd like to talk with him about solutions.

Hi from Italy, I am a pub owner, we are in lockdown so everything is closed since 1 month ago.
I am actually developing an 'e-commerce' like version of my website so I can receive orders there and deliver beer by my self in our town.
The e-commerce thing is usefull to receive payments and avoid direct contact with the customers.
