I have some family in the Seattle area this week. What should I request they bring back to MN? I enjoy hops, sour and a good RIS.

    Cheers,
    Todd

Keep an eye out for fresh hop beers. They are just starting to show up in Portland

Fremont, Reubens, Georgetown all tend to be pretty highly regarded here on BA.

Speaking of Georgetown, does anyone from the area have any insight into the bodhizafa IPA they came out with a little while back? I thought it was terrific, and I know it sold very well here in Eugene. Even places that typically don't go through kegs all that quickly, sold out of the bodhizafa in a day or two.

The good stuff never hits a packaging machine. Growlers or our newest bright and shiny, crowlers (there is a separate thread on this), can fix you right up.

'fresh hop' are two words your family needs to know when searching . They are being released daily and don't tend to last long.

Easily accessible sours? In bottles, and I have drunk at least three gallons of it this summer, is Breakside Passionfruit sour. Don't pay $10 for it at Costco though. :astonished:

Can't remember the last time I had a locally brewed RIS. Sorry.

Still around here in Portland, along with their other Point Break-themed beers they've been putting out. Agreed, a nice IPA.

Urban Family might still have bottles of their raspberry sour available, but not sure. Holy Mountain might have some Seer and Ox still. Oh, Chucks CD also has their crowler machine up and running now so ya might be able to catch a crowler of Hop Venom.

Life on Mars from Reuben's was just released last week. I loved it a lot when it was first released last year. Fremont Bellingham beer week hop lab was on tap as well. Cowiche should be forthcoming in the next few weeks

Holy Mountain still had Seer and Ox yesterday. BTW - I think you should add Standard Brewing to your list of breweries to visit.
