What stores allow mix-a-6?

    Mix 6 packs are what I like to purchase now, and was looking to get one today. I only know of 2 stores (Julios & Craft Beer Cellar) that allow mix sixers of anything in the store. But neither of those places are that close to me. Who else (preferably on the south shore) allows mix 6 packs? I'm not talking about stores that only allow you to mix a sixer using designated beers set aside on one rack (ala Granite in Weymouth). I'm talking free range of anything that fits into the six pack.

    I don't know if all Supreme Liquor stores do, but the one in Cambridge does. But so many people were making mix 6ers that it was making a mess of their selection so they started charging an extra buck or so to "buy" an empty six pack to put the bottles in.

    Not South Shore, but Cambridge Wine & Spirits (Fresh Pond, next to WF) sells singles of anything they stock. I don't know if they have a discount if you buy 6, but I think their prices for singles are reasonable IIRC (maybe a 20% premium?).

    Also not south shore, but Gordon's on Main St. allows it - even though it doesn't seem to be advertised.

    In my experience, more stores allow it than not in MA. If the store allows you to buy singles, then you are free to buy 6 of them (though not at any reduced price over the singles prices). Andover Liquors allows it.

    Off the top of my head, Wines n more(even on bombers), grape expectations in Milford, both offer a discount with mix a six.

    And Andover Liquors gives a discount on 6 bombers or singles-meant-to-be-sold-as-singles (e.g., 750's or 500's or 375's).

    Came to say this. Be careful though, sometimes the single bottles aren't in the system so when a bottle is scanned you get charged for the whole 6-pack. Just tell them and they will fix it for you.

    Muckey's Liquors in Lakeville allows you to mix any 6 beers that the carry for a 10% discount

    Going off memory from a CT guy, Yankee Spirits in Swansea does mix a sixes. Not exactly South Shore, but you are sure as hell are closer than me.

    Totally forgot about Muckey's! I pass through that area from time to time. Nice beer guy there.

    Sorry, not South Shore but Wegmans has a limited dedicated mix a six shelf. Not the greatest selection, but sometimes some interesting beers end up there.

    Colonial in Acton allows this for this and has a pretty large selection to boot.

    We do at Grain & Vine in Hyannis. A bit further south than the South Shore but there's my 2 cents.

    Errr..this is awkward..but to confess... the selection USED to be greater, and more consistently interesting....
    -BUT that was Before I got there and by the 'no more than two of any kind' rule, filled my six packs (on return runs) with barleywines, barrel-aged, and Imperial everythings...-

    Since that time they have not really replenished the singles shelves with more than some macrobrews (someone must have wised up...)
