Anyone else seen the Widmer variety pack of 4 bombers around Charlotte? I found it odd that a variety pack would have only two flavors but eh wadayagunadoo... Break into it tonight and the time stamp on the Nelson imp ipa says AUG 2911...no matter if that is the bottled or best until, 11 is a suck number to see on an IPA...did these jabronies gift scoop up some pallet aged ipa and send it out? There is also a black sticker over the original UPC. same dates on the pitch black x2.

Think I got took on my $16.50 :slight_frown: bastards...

Ps I bought it at a bottle shop and not a flea market or a van down by the river

Pitch black was ok. Nelson was super malty for a double ipa...havent had either of them before so I can't tell how they are supposed to taste but they appear to be almost a year old and repackaged..

    That sucks.....some bad business.
You should report it to Widmer. I would imagine this is the retailers doing?
