First craft beer was probably Boulevard Wheat or Fat Tire.

As for brewery, I visited several brewpubs before I was of drinking age so that gets confusing. However, the first true brewery visit is probably Middlebury/Otter Creek in Vermont.

Yeah, the brewpubs before drinking age muddles things for me. Brewpubs were usually the best dining establishments in college towns for large groups. So in college I hit Little Apple and Free State. I know in high school my family hit up Dillon Dam brewpub in Colorado. I'm sure there are others.

Ah, shoot. I forgot about Freestate. I've been eating there since my age was in the single digits. That's got to be my first brew pub. And we stopped at Tommy Knocker's in Colorado shortly after that. I think my dad got an "adult" beer, and I got a root beer when we visited

I've camped at Lake Dillon a couple times, but never visited that brew pub!

Dillon has to be one of the first places that I ordered beer with my dad at a brewpub.

I seem to remember something called Petes Wicked Ale, if not that, then Sam Adams Boston Lager.
The first really "great" beer I had was Old Rasputin. I've been a Russian Imperial Stout man ever since, nothing better.
    First brewery, Goose Island.

    First brewery was Great Lakes.

I was a Miller Lite drinker all through college (2002), as well as when I got married (2005). Then, after moving up to WI in 2007, I was introduced to Spotted Cow and I never really looked back after that.

First brewery was Milwaukee Brewing Company

My first craft beer was Fat Tire, I feel like it is a great gateway beer to ween people over, still in my opinion light but much more flavor than your Millers, Buds, etc. Eventually I remember I was dragged to some ale house with only craft beers and this menu was 90 beers deep and I'm looking for your lighter options (didn't exist), I ask for a suggestion and the waitress brings out Dogfish 90. Everything I tried that night I remember being so explosive with flavor and bitter, admittedly I didn't care for anything I tried, now I can't get enough of this stuff.

First brewery I went to was Two Brothers, nowadays I feel like I'm trekking to new breweries every if not every other weekend.

My first craft brew was a Sweetwater 420 that my brother forced upon me. It was just different compared to everything I had before it, and I liked that about it. I still enjoy one every now and then.

The first craft brewery was probably a local one, Bold City in Jacksonville FL. They've got a solid core lineup, and to this day offer a free sampler flight if it's your first time there!

Not positive on the first but there's a good chance it was either Pete's Wicked Ale or New Amsterdam. As for the first brewery tour I think it was Flying Fish.

My first craft beer was either Trois Pistoles or Arrogant Bastard, my college roommate brought both home night simply based of name/label art. We went back that weekend and picked up all the other Unibroue's we hadn't tried. That was 2006ish, didn't really start getting into craft until 2013.

First brewery was Burial Beer Co.

Arcadia Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout | Arcadia Brewing Company. I'm not counting Baltika #9 as my 1st since it: A. is just an import, and B. I can still remember the puke-in-apple-cider-vinegar-that-has-gone-bad smell and taste. So with that said, the imperial stout was the 1st non-AAL I actually enjoyed :sunglasses:

    I'm 31 now

    I had a Sam Adams when I was 17 in 2002 at a friend's house

The first brewery I went to was a place called the Marietta Brewing Company in Marietta Ohio (it's a tiny little brewpub). We used to go watch bands there in college, and I had my first ever coffee stout there.
