I can remember buying this for 2.50 a sixer at a local store in the mid 70's.
I think it was the bottle that made me try it.

I remember going to a party in the early 80's, and seeing Heineken dark and thinking ewww. I can't remember drinking a whole one. Later in the decade, I was in college and Moosehead and Molsen were EXOTIC beers to have when we had a little extra money to spend on beer.

What can I say? I was young.

Growing up 5 miles from the Canadian border, we crossed on a regular basis to get Molson Brador

Tuborg from Denmark. I think I was 12 at the time, it was warm and drank very quickly in my buddies basement. Would love to try it again, under different conditions of course

I'm pretty sure it was a Heineken, or maybe a Löwenbräu. It was a long time ago.

I never had an imported beer until a few years ago. I was well into my beer drinking days at that point. My first import was Delerium Tremens. This began my long, deep love affair with Belgian beers.

As a Brit this is not really open to us, can't vote for the US. But I think it was Molson I drank first, but only a year or two before Bud became all the rage in the clubs here. Red Stripe wasn't far behind.

My first imported beer was my first beer - Heineken, drinking with my high school buddies at a drive-in theatre in 1976.

If you started drinking beer in the 1970s, craft beer was not even an option.

Labatt Blue for sure! Even in the darker times of my beer drinking, I much preferred that over BMC. Still like to knock back a LB every now and then when it's cheap and the options are limited.

Would have most likely been a Molson Golden, or a Labatt Blue.

My Dad let me have a sip of his Lowenbrau when I was a kid, which I believe was still an import back then (I'm 51), but my I eventually morphed into drinking sixers of Molson Golden with friends beer in high school (both before and after drinking age). I still enjoy it occasionally, with a lobster. But prefer Molson Export Ale which you can't get in the States anymore.
