What was your first beer?

Hi folks, just thought it would be interesting to hear what everyone's first beer was, and see whether they were craft or macro. Mine was a Guinness Foreign Export stout, so not craft, but it at least got me started with flavorful brews!

 

The first beer I ever had was when I turned 16 a friend of mine and myself took one of his fathers coors gold and shared it.

 

Not even really sure, but if I had to guess, probably a Shiner Bock that my dad let me try.

 

J.R Ewing beer, me and some buddies out riding dirt bikes on country roads when we were 13 found a half full 12 pack... lol boy howdy did we get sick that first time back in the mid 80's

 

First beer I ever had was BCBCS.



No, let's be realistic, it was a Bud Heavy me and a friend stole from his dad when we were like 14. We both spit it out and didn't understand how anyone could like beer. haha

 

Not sure the first beer I ever had, but the first beer my daughter ever tried was Cantillon Don Quijote, when she was about 9 months old. Second beer she ever tried (same day) was Midnight Sun M. She also tried 1983 Dirty Horse on the same day. Of course, it was just a tiny sip of each, but not a bad way to get started.

Used to take sips of my dads Budweisers when I was about 7 years old.

First beer I drank on my own was likely a warm budlight pilfered from my friends parents.

 

Gotta be the classic Budweiser my dad let me "take a swig of but don't tell your mother." It was effective. I didn't try beer again until college. Thanks, dad.

When I was 8yrs old a neighborhood friend snuck a can of Budweiser from his dad and let me have a swig. I choked it down, but thought it tasted nasty as hell. He laughed of course, but I didn't have beer again until about 11 years later!

A sip of my grandpa's budweiser that he let me try when I was 10 or so. He told me after I cringed that I should do my best to not drink beer as it was bad for you. HA!

 

Bud or coors probably. Started as more of a bourbon/scotch drinker at 14 though...there's only so much to do growing up in KY

 

PBR was my first beer I tasted . Mickey's Big Mouth was the first beer that ever destroyed me.

 

Busch beer when I was 14; I had Near Beer when I was 12, if that counts.

 

First beer I ever had was a Bud Heavy, and I said it was gross and I'll never drink beer. Oops. guess I was wrong.
