What was your first beer?

Budweiser, with my Dad. One of those Dad gives his son his first sip moments.

That said, the first beer I purchased the day I turned 21 was Sam Adams Honey Porter.

 

Icehouse. What can I say...it was the best buzz for the buck when you're 15.

 

Schaefer's. Used to fetch Dad his beer. got a sip for my work.

 

First beer I bought was a Killian's Irish Red. Even back then, I knew there was something better than AAL's

 

At 16 I was at a party and someone passed me a 40 of Olde English. I thought it was absolutely repulsive. I thought to my self "This is what beer tastes like??? This is disgusting!!!" I wanted to be cool and fit in so, I ended up dumping most of it in the toilet and pretending I drank it. Everyone thought I was a champion because I managed to drink the whole thing and not even get drunk. After that, I promised myself I would never have another beer again.......until one day someone offered me a Sam Addams Boston Lager and I realized not all beer tasted the same.

 

Got to open and take the first sip(s) out of the Schlitz cans before handing it to my dad (mid 60s). Still have a soft spot for that in my heart.

 

The first beer I consumed was when I was probably 15 at the beach, natty light that an older kid in highschool let me have.

 

Dinkel Acker (at a resort in the Catskills run by a German family). It was a positive experience.

I'm excluding random sips of BMC as a younger person.

 

First sip was High Life. First full beer was Rheinlander (Rainier). First 40oz fingered from the "stop and rob" was Lucky Lager. First underage keg purchased was The Beast $39.99...a lot of money back then! A lot of firsts!

 

Either P.O.C or Goebbels.

I stole a sip of O'doul's from my dad when I was 13.

 

I must have been around five. It was fourth of july and I accidentally took a sip of my grandma's bud. I hated it. My first full beer I drank was either Michelob dragonfruit or Dos equis. Now I drink those beers and then some.

 

Heinekin, it's a miracle i gave beer a second chance.

Miller High Life longneck - back in the sixties, my dad and I would go out fishing every weekend off the coast of Southern California, me with my sodas and he with his Millers. I must have been about ten. I was curious about the beer so he let me have one once. I didn't like it much, but I finished it.

 

A Heineken my father offered to me on vacation when I was 16.

I didn't like it but I kind of wanted more, so I decided then I wasn't going to drink beer.

I was smarter then than I am now.

 

First beer I ever had was Miller High Life - 1978.

 

The beast, Milwaukee's Best. And it ain't even close to Millwaukee's best!
