Pilsner Urquell in Prague, September 2007. I had been a teetotaller up till that point, but I was in Bohemia, I was about to turn 40, and I figured the heck with it, let's live it up!

First sip was Miller High Life. First full beer was Rheinlander or Lucky Lager, when they both were brewed in the Seattle / Tacoma Area.

Michelob, my grandfather drank it and I would sneak sips here and there way back in the day.

Mine was a Peils in a fat grenade shaped bottle. Not the actual photo, but this is kinda what it looked like. My dad gave me a few sips at one of those italian family picnics that we used to have (that no one does anymore). Boy it tasted great. Different. But great. You?

Not certain, but most of likely it was Old Milwaukee at my grandparents. My grandpa probably gave it to me to get to me fall asleep... nah, he would have used brandy.

I dunno, a sip of my Dad's beer, or some relative. It's a huge departure from soda and juice when you are a kid, so it tasted like shit naturally back then.

I think it was natural light, circa early nineties...

Probably Old Milwaukee. My parents weren't much in the way of beer drinkers, but there was usually a case of that whenever the neighbors came by. That was the only beer I remember seeing on a regular basis growing up in rural western Minnesota. This was before the proliferation of Coors Light, of course.

I remember taking Natty Ice from a friend's dad's fridge. My god that stuff took some getting used to. Also thought the 5.8% ABV was crazy high.

Would have been in Tijuana with my parents in the old Ford station wagon. Some Mexican beer with hot tortillas from the corner tortilleria dabbed with butter and salt they always brought on jaunts over the border.

Colt 45 Malt Liquor cans. My friends knew this guy who would buy us a case or two (PA) on occasion. (We were about 17).
I couldn't stand it but drank it to be part of the group.

When I was a kid my mother poured us kids 1 or 2 ounces of Hamms, she didn't drink much and never beer, she just wanted a half can of beer to use as hair conditioner. The amount of fizz in the beer made it difficult to drink for me so I refused the rest of it. That was probably the last time I ever turned down a beer................

My best friend's dad drank (and probably still drinks) Olympia like it's sweet nectar of the gods. About 17 years ago, me and my bud would sneak tastes here and there. It tasted like shit, but we thought we were pretty cool to be sneaking beer.

Shortly after in high school we moved on to Coors Light, so not much of an improvement if any. Haven't had an Oly since, But I really should for old times sake.
