Not sure that Dragon's Milk was my first craft beer, because I tried it on the Old Chicago World Beer Tour, so I could get free stuff. But it was the first beer I actually enjoyed. Most of what I had before that I just merely tolerated. Then that got me to actually want to try beers.

Mine was a two fer one: My first craft beer was also my first Italian one, too! Verdi Imperial Stout! So delicious I make it a tradition to buy a case or two each year!

It was either New Belgium Abbey Ale or Sam Adams BL. Love the Abbey, wasn't much of a fan of the Sam's though.

I believe the first craft beer I ever tried was Dog Fish Head 90 Minute IPA. At first I wasn't a fan, but it was an eye opener into the different flavors a beer can have. I have been on a mission to try all craft beers every since.

Ayinger UR Weiss 22 years ago in college I guess. If that even counts as craft. I had Sierra Nevada Stout soon thereafter. I know they are definitely considered craft. Used to go heavy with the Dragon Stout too.

Dragon Stout I would definitely consider craft because of it's limited distribution to states and unique flavor profile. Not to be confused with Dragon's Milk.

Pretty sure it was Founders Old Curmudgeon. My brother gave it to me and said it was far superior to anything I would ever have and boy was he right!
I was, however, pretty grossed out by the sediment at the bottom, but damn was it delicious.
    Haven't looked back since!
