Stones arrogant bastard. I was underage at the time and it was all some of my older friends drank. I pretended to like it to fit in with the cool kids. Over time I really warmed up to it and appreciated what it was. It was a wrap from there.

Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. Wouldn't drink it now but it was revolutionary (to me) at the time.

Prob Anchor Steam, Red Oak, or Craggie, just can't remember which was actually 1st. Although Red Oak was my first brewery tour.

Must be an Air Force thing - 1st for me as well, Anchorage circa 1993 maybe????? Loved Wicked Ale but developed a mild addiction to Pete's Strawberry Blonde. Killed a 6 of it damn near nightly over the course of a few years.....

I'm sure I had a number of Sam Adams and other craft beers before my entry into the craft beer world. I didn't know what I was drinking or that there was even a segment of beer called "craft". However, my first untappd checkin and the beginning of my foray to the world of beer that doesn't resolve to just get me piss drink was BA abraxas....life changing.
