I think my "first" biggest purchase was @ Russian River, 12 Plinys, 12 Blind Pigs, 4 Supplications, and 4 Consecrations.

My first and only craft case purchase was 12 cases of Ommegang for my wedding reception. It was one hell of a reception. Many people had happy, albeit fuzzy, memories of that night.

I'm not completely sure, but I think the first case of "craft" beer I ever bought was Sierra Nevada Celebration.

Maybe not the first but in the early 2000's the Dogfish Tackle Box had 4 different beers that I am trying to remember and none of them were IPA's

Never bought a case of "craft" beer. Have bought cases of crappy beer, but that was in younger years.

    BCBS.

The only other thing I ever bought by the case is sucks.... (But that really puts the pressure on me to drink all that before the hops begin to fade!)

DFH Shelter Pale Ale on the week of my 21st birthday. Drank it out of a frosted mug and thought it was awesome. Gotta start somewhere!

Bought a case of Sosus bombers back when TG used to allow it. Don't worry, I was not selfish, I shared.

Two cases of bombers from Golden City Brewery in 1997. Pale Ale and Oatmeal Stout (I think...)

    Stole my line!

I gotta set the way-back machine to 1995, when I got my first case of Leinny's Northwoods Lager. I distinctly remember drinking this at a friend's house and recalling that it didn't taste like ass. It took me about another 10 years before I realized that there was a standard more articulate than "not tasting like ass."

I don't really buy cases either, since I'm too lazy to carry one around and I don't have a car. Probably Sierra Nevada or summat.

2013 BCBS: Not a case from a single store, but I was able to scrounge one up through 4-packs at different stores. I was content with two 4-packs, until I stumbled upon a bunch a few weeks later.

What I would buy a case of: FIS, Expedition Stout, Bigfoot and Heady (to name a few)
