What was your first 'craft' case purchase?

Troegs Pale Ale I think. I buy a lot of cases since it's just easier here in PA. Singles and 6 packs always seem to be overpriced.

 

Do kegs of Shiner off the loading dock in the early 70's count?

 

I'm excited to pull the trigger and buy a case of backwoods bastard this year.

 

It was either SN celebration or wachusett green monsta. I don't buy too many cases but celebration is just so good. Green monsta was a special at the brewery.

 

Zombie Dust was the only case I've ever bought

 

Honestly, I've liked craft beers, both foreign and domestic, since I visited the Brickskellar in DC back in '99. But I've lived in North and South Carolina since then and the really good beers have flowed in slowly. So, while I've picked up multiple bombers and 6 packs of craft beer since then, I picked up my first full case in one purchase this morning at NoDa Brewing Co. in Charlotte, NC. First bottle release of their Monstro Pappy Van Winkle barrel aged Russian imperial stout.

 

Mixed case of Jackie O's 375's. Worth every penny!

 

I've been drinking craft beer for over 20 years but last week was the first time that I've purchased a case. 4 Hands Resurrected in cans has taken over my IPA drinking since July. The last couple of times that I'd hit the local Friar Tuck by my work they were all out. Since my wife and I had been going through it pretty fast, I went ahead and picked up a case of it. Most likely it won't be the last time either.

 

Found a place that had a bunch of cases. Regular BCBS lasts quite a while in NY/NJ.

 

my first case purchase was DFH 90 minute IPA

 

My intro to craft beer was Heady, and therefore drove to the Alchemist and purchased 2 cases, the limit at the time.

 

My first was FBS, followed by GBS and Mexican Cake. There may be some in between, but I can't remember...lol.

 

New Amsterdam was my first case of craft also. No case discount, same price a 4 6 packs.

 

Pennsylvania. Hoping to get a caes of BCBS, BCBCS and Barleywine this year.

I've bought cases of Wolavers Pumpkin, Xocoveza, Backwood's Bastard (split with friends), and BCBS in the last year.

 

It was anchor steam and I took it down to OBX where I saved the day

First time I bought a full case of something was when the Mrs and I went to FFF. Picked up two cases of Gumballhead and two of Zombie Dust. Good times.
