The more I talk to people the more I realise, and am somewhat relieved, that I wasn't the only one who disliked IPAs until that one beer to *set me straight*

For me it was Brewdog's Punk IPA, Swedish summer of 2012.

    Nothing :open_mouth:

It might not ever be a style I seek out or tend to enjoy more than others. There are a handful of ipas I do enjoy though and that I occasionally revisit, but it'll never be a favorite style. I'm looking forward to Celebration pretty soon

DFH 90 minute. Too malty now, but the first hoppy beer I ever liked.

Never had an IPA I liked until I had Lagunitas Sucks.

It taught me to appreciate hops and hoppy beers. And now I drink IPAs/IIPAs all the time.

I really don't remember much about them before I had Anchor Steam Liberty Ale.

60 Minute was the first one I ever tried (hated it). Coincidentally, it was also the first one I ever liked.

I had DFH 120 on tap and it was beyond amazing. It tasted like no other beer I'd ever tried.

Snake dog IPA, which was also my first real introduction to craft in general. First half of my first bottle I wasn't sure what to think, by they second half I knew I wouldn't be drinking Budweiser anymore.

My buddy got me to try Stone RuinTen before I was really into beer. I was intruiged by the catch phrase of "A Stage Dive Into A Most Pit of Hops" because I'm a metal head. I absolutley hated the beer. Swore that I'd never drink an IPA again. Then years later I tried a Stone Ruination and loved it, and keep trying to find more IPAs. Additionally I no longer hate RuinTen.
