    I bet it was the Red Hook in '91-'92, then; Bridgeport didn't make the IPA until a few years later.

    I'd say Great Lakes Commodore Perry, but Stone IPA is really the one that got me hooked..

    Stone IPA about 10 years ago I think. Had me hooked from there.

    I would have to say it was Saranac IPA which led to Dundee IPA which led to Dogfish head 60 and 90 min. IPA...and so on.

    I started drinking czech pilsners, that was my first serious hop exposure. then i got into english bitters, the especialy strong bitters ESB's. then ipas like raging bitch, and moon man.

    My wife liked IPAs long before I did. She brought home a case of Dale's Pale Ale and it was something I could drink. My neighbor said "Hell, if you can drink Dale's, you can drink anything" and gave me a Lagunitas Sucks. Dale's got me there, Sucks sealed the deal. I'm a total addict now.

    Same here. First tried it at The Eccentric, and was blown away. Haven't seen it on tap down here, but TW has 6 packs year round.

    dfh 60 min was the first I loved. Still do. So drinkable.
