Hey Howard - not a problem, glad to hear you liked it.

As I told you via conversation yesterday, the Fremont The Brother IPA is what I consider to be the best IPA out of WA state by far (and we've got a ton of them!). Consensus among friends is that it's right up there with, if not better than, PtE.

The Fremont Bourbon Barrel Abominable Ale won a bronze medal at the recent World Cup in the Wood and Barrel-Aged Strong Ale category behind Sam Adams' Utopias and Goose Island King Henry. It's fantastic. The Pike XXXXX Extra Stout won a silver in the American-Style Stout category. I tried to get a bottle of the Silver City Imperial Stout (which won a gold in the American Imperial Stout category), but I couldn't find it anywhere, so I replaced it with the Old School Imperial Stout. The Skagit River Trumpeter is an under the radar beers that I think has been underrated/under-appreciated around here. The rest are self explanatory.

    Enjoy, man! Cheers!

    Received box from Spillybeers.

Elijah Craig 18yr (22oz) (damn nice)
Iron Hill Russian Imperial Stout (25oz) (sounds great)
    Iron Hill Berlinerweisse Growler
    Heady Topper (16oz)
    2 T-Rail Pale Ale (16oz)
    Sculpin (12oz)
    2 Flower Powers (12oz)

Frankly I'm not quite sure what is what as a majority are from smaller breweries and brewpubs.
I did not receive any glasswear.

Does this leave me as the last to receive a box? Fingers are tightly crossed it arrives before Friday. Heading out of town for the weekend and don't imagine a box sitting on my front steps for 3+ days will do very well.

Looks like the last "normal" box was delivered today. A certain bears fan has been notified of a circumstance that I feel justifies a late shipment and his shipper is a very established trader and BIFFER. I'm sure his shipper could use some good vibes as he recovers.

I want to thank everyone for coming through with some seriously awesome boxes. It is a bit nerve racking running a BIF, and all of you have done a great job making this a great experience for me. There was a bunch of first time BIFFERs in this round and everyone has blown away my expectations. You guys have rocked this.

    Round 2!

I know many have asked about a round two, and there WILL be a round two!!! But I look to the participants to give their input on ship date, and also what they would like to make it bigger and better. Chime in or BM me any suggestions you might have.

Thanks everyone, and post this hauls if you haven't.

Thanks for running this one Joel. It was my first BIF and I can't put into words how unbelievably happy/excited/satisfied I am with the entire experience. That said, I got an absolute KILLER box yesterday from cdb636. Not getting home until 11pm, I was up well past midnight unpacking, taking pictures, researching the beers, and stashing them away. I am down for 2nd round. I think this format was quite cool. Maybe we change some of the standards to maybe beer style category or beers from your area.
