How was the NERAX booth? I remember thinking some of those sounded outstanding ,,

Jackie O's Cucumber Ginger Berliner Weisse was my biggest surprise.

All beers I had were good. Only had 2 dumpers, and one I didn't even try cuz friend said it was horrible.

Tree House Good Morning was indeed magical, but it was poured too cold. Need to warm it up to taste what it can really do. I know cuz I've got a 750ml of it in my fridge.

    My List:
Good morning by Tree House (perfect)
Last Buffalo In The Park by Funky Buddah (nice coconut)
Cucumber Ginger Berliner Weisse by Jackie O's (good canoe trip beer)
After those 3, all the rest kinda mush together. Lots of good ones.

I think my favorite EBF moment came from Instagram. Realizing that #EBF is shared between the extreme beer fest and nursing moms that want the world to know they exclusively breast feed their babies.

CBS/Founders - not disappointed at all.
All Green Everything/The Other Half - there was a buzz about this beer. Everyone was talking about it.
Lager Ness Monster/Jack's Abby - hidden gem of EBF.
    70K/Against the Grain
    Dark Apparition/Jackie O's

I might be the only person to complain about getting some Hunaphu. I'd already had it and wanted Da Un Beso A La Botella. They weren't put that on until session III according to what they told me.

Funky Buddha Last Buffalo was a top 5 as was
    Jackie O's Oro Negro

NERAX had the most underrated booth of the day. Flower Power with grapefruit, Framinghammer with maple, an interesting berliner weiss/ale combo from NightShift .. alll good stuff and not many at the booth.

Also, was amazed there was NO line at Surly last night. I just keep going right back up for more Abrassive. What was up with that?

I finally got to try Huna and CBS. Both very very good. CBS much sweeter than expected.

But hands down, Good Morning remains my No. 1 favorite beer of all time. All the more solidified in my mind after being able to compare to CBS head to head. Good Morning is just in another tier of beer by itself. Way out there on another planet. Lucky to get the second to last pour last night.

I'm with Circleo12. Carton's Irish Coffee was shockingly good. My wife and I kept getting back in the way-too-short line and getting more. Their SS Kentucky was also excellent.

I went to session 3, was in the back of the line getting in, and went straight to Cigar City and was able to get Hunaphu. It was worth the effort.

Stone's Green Tea IPA was really something. Incredibly clean and light for a 10% IPA.

Last Buffalo had kicked by the time I got to the front of the Funky Buddha line, but my wife grabbed the French Toast, which was really nice, and I was impressed with their Key Lime Berliner.

Finally, I was definitely impressed with RI's Proclamation. Their 100% Brett Keraterra was delicious, as were their sours.

There were so many brews that deserve to be in this top 5, but here are the ones that stood out the most...in no particular order:

    Crux - Doublecross
    Carton - Irish Coffee
    Shmaltz - Jewbelation Reborn
    Epic - Brainless on Peaches
Kane - Mysterioso Barrel Aged Dark Belgian

And there they are...I won't even bother to list the honorable mentions because the list just goes on!

    Jackie O's Oro Negro,
    Night Shift El,
    Funky's Buffalo,

The two surprises were Carton's Irish Coffee and another personal favorite was Right Brain's Thai Peanut, just because both were so different but had strong flavor profiles that were true to their name, style and ingredients.

    Proclamation - Harper I (Apricot)
Bruery - Tart of Darkness w/Cherries and Vanilla
    Cascade - Cherry Bourbonic Plague

Proclamation was my surprise brewery overall. Thier apricot sour , the 100% brett beer and the Galaxy dry hopped pale ale were all outstanding.
Overall best brewery was by far Rare Barrel for me. The fruit in their sour really popped . Map was amazing!
Also really like Short Bus from Due South
....yes NERAX was awesome too! Nightshifts blended pale ale/berliner was awesome!

Funky Buddha - Last Buffalo in the Park (clear winner, if you ask me)
Founders - CBS (I'd never had it before, and I wasn't disappointed)
Jackie O's - Oro Negro (excellent flavor profile)
Surly - Abrasive (everything I want in a DIPA)

I can't pick a fifth. It's probably a tie between Darkness, Maple Bacon Coffee Porter, French Toast, and Black Tuesday.
