I'm taking taking my daughter (visiting from Louisiana) on an over night jaunt from Stutgart to Strasbourg, France later today and I have 3 places on my beer list:

    1. Academie de la Biere

    2. Le Village de la Biere (for bottles to bring back with us)

    And lastly:

    Here's the beer list: http://www.lesberthom.com/les-bieres/

#3 has a nice list of beers, some I've never heard of - so what would you all recommend off of this menu?

Most of the beers on the list for #3 are fantastic world class beers and you would probably not go wrong with any of them. How many beers would you like to try? I will recommend three:

    Rochefort 10 - A world class Quad.
    Lindemans Cuvée René (Gueuze)
    Saison Dupont

I went with three different styles and three classic examples. That being said...I wouldn't have them one right after the other. I would linger and let some time pass between beers. Perhaps even try on multiple visits (Say lunch, and then go do some walking and such and return for a late afternoon libation).

Just my opinion...please take it as such.

As Pollo said list three is good. Looking at your avatar you probably know Belgian beer can creep up on you so don't drink multiple and drive. I am at Ramstein and occasionally go to Cora market in Forbach, France. Check and see if one is in Strasbourg to buy some beers for your trip home. The selection won't be great but you can get a few Belgians. France doesn't charge a deposit on the bottles so you can put them in a recycle bag. The drawback of buying in France is they have a high tax on beer.

Great place to hang and knock a few back:

Gotta love those Alsace Blondes - in moderation, of course.
