Prairie Hop. Hoppy, dry, some funk, really refreshing. Represents a lot of what I look for in a beer. Alternative is Parabola. Gotta love the richness, vanilla, coconut, and tasty bourbon notes.

If you say a "house beer", than it would have to be something available all the time. Great brew, all year, people pleaser, Id pick Duval for all my guests and myself. For me only, since its always available year round, St. Bernardus Abt 12!

"If it had to be one beer it would be Victory Braumeister Pils – Hallertau"
I only remember the Hallertau Tettnang.

I would rotate between a Scottish 70/' and an English Pale Ale.

I do keep some standards around the house for sharing or taking to friends. Since I started in late spring it's been Lagunitas IPA - not the most bitter, but it's "low" in abv for an IPA, light to drink and enough flavor. I am probably converting to another IPA once it gets cold and adding a porter.

Yes, I know I can't get as many ticks with a house beer around, but it's nice to not rate every beer.

I could have one every day and never get tired of it. If guests don't like it they can GTFO.

Lagunitas IPA , Sierra Nevada, and Yuengling fit out what I have for everyone every day. Throw Foothills Hoppyum and Smuttynose Robust Porter (and Finest Kind) for a change on occasion.
