Has to be something sessionable. Maybe All Day or Dale's. Although right now, I'm loving the few bottles of Oberon I have left from my trip to the Midwest, so right now I'd pick that. So awesome and easy to drink.

Well...to me a "house" beer should be an accessible and relatively affordable one (i.e. something that will appeal to most consumers, not just the hardcore enthusiasts).

So for me....Anchor Steam. Delicious? Check....Balanced? Check....Exciting enough to keep people interested? Check....Reasonably priced? Check....

If we're already pretending here, I'd like to go with Cantillon Gueuze and RR Temptation as an alternate.

When I said house beer, I meant beer that you have at your house.

Great responses so far. Love the pilsner response from drtth.

Fullers London Pride, Two Hearted/Union Jack or Anchor Steam. I'm leaning towards London Pride though.

    Honorable mention to Duvel.

No, I won't be doing much sessioning. Yes, sessioning is a word.

That's a tough one, but I've got to go with Head Hunter IPA.

Uerige Alt served in the 0,25 cl glasses so I could drone on about how awesome Düsseldorf is. The little glasses would be a good conversation starter.
Rothaus Pils for those who don't like alts.
Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier Dunkel in bottles in the cooler.

The stupid drunk side of me says bourbon county stout. The marginally more sane part of me says dreadnaught. The part of me that wants to get drunk and not die says heady. The part of me wanting to stay under 250 pounds says levitation!

I think the sheer simplicity of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale would be my choice. Not the fanciest beer, but it's easy to drink, pairs well with just about any food, fairly sessionable, and won't destroy your palate. It could be enjoyed by me, other beer geeks, and those wanting to make a break from macros.

Great Lakes Dortmunder gold or Duvell, although I would need to shorten my sessions with the latter
