    The real question is what will Cubs fans open to drown their sorrows when the Tribe beats them in the World Series. (I've been rooting on the cubbies but gotta go with my Indians. It's Cleceland's year ((except the Browns they are horrible)))))

    That is going to be a historically amazing series!!!

    I absolutely agree with this. If the Cubs end up winning it at home, I will be there, drinking old style and probably not surviving the madness in wrigleyville that night!

    What is it going to be tonight for game 1, Cubs fans? Decided to go with tried and true locals, with somewhat lower ABV. Anti Hero (canned 10/17, so I do not have worry about their issue) and Brickstone APA.

    I traded for my first Side Project beers which I got Friday. I almost opened a Balaton after they won Saturday night. But then I thought drinking a St Louis area beer might jinx the Cubs, so I hade a Black Note instead.
    If they win it all, what better reason to open a Mornin' Delight!

    I had no idea beer was responsible for the Tigers choking, but ill bite:

    -Bells is geographically closer to Chicago than Detroit
    -Larry Bell was born near Chicago and lives there in the summer
    -Larry Bell is a longtime season ticket holder and spent an undetermined amount of cheddar in a silent auction to have the chance to sing the 7th inning stretch
    -Black Note is delicious, lol curses

    Pounding Old Styles tonight and tomorrow but I'll be back in Chicago for the weekend series and games 6 and 7 if need be and I'll have a BCBS Rare, BBA DL and some other treats to drink. Pretty fucking stoked!
