Girardin 1882 black label (classic, top notch gueuze)
Cuvée des jacobins rogue (fantastic Flanders red)
New Belgium la folie (easy to get, one of the most sour that I've had)

    Oh and thread watched

+1 for tilquin...should be fairly easy to get as well.

There are lots of good sours, with tons of great examples listed in this thread so far.

If you want the best sour, though, shell out for some Armand'4 Oud Geuze Lente. You won't be sorry.

I know not always easy to get but if you get out to Portland Cascade has amazing sours IMO.

Disagree. That beer was not good. Nor sour.

I would say for the money, Lindemans Cuvee Rene is pretty much hard to beat. It is also quite widely available compared to many other Lambics. Personally I love Drie Fonteinen and Girardin Black Label Geueze, which are also not too too hard to get. Anything Drie Fonteinen or Cantillon always does the trick. There are some awesome Flanders Sours, Rodenbach and the vintage version are very awesome and relatively affordable and available.

For US sours, I love Russian River's, all of them that I have tried. Hill Farmstead also has a few nice ones. People seem to enjoy Cascade a lot but I have only tried one of them, which was good.

My #1 must-have would definitely be Russian River Supplication, splendid.

For easy to find ones, I agree with the previous suggestions of Rodenbach and Jolly Pumpkin (though Jolly Pumpkin can be a bit pricey).

it's pretty good if your girlfriend runs out of nail polish remover or you're looking to degrease an engine.

Can't go wrong with La Folie, especially for accessibility. Also Sui Generis and Margarete from Avery's Barrel Aged Series deserve an honorable mention (though they are difficult to get ahold of now).

RR sours are all excellent and somewhat accessible out here.

Can't believe no one brought up Blabaer?

Some of the best "sour" ales (overly broad term if you ask me) I've had:
    Ale Apothecary La Tache
    Cantillon Gueuze 100% Lambic
    Oude Gueuze Tilquin à L'Ancienne
    Russian River Temptation
    Cascade Sang Royal
    Logsdon Peche 'n' Brett
    Rodenbach Caractère Rouge
    Cantillon Kriek 100% Lambic

Certainly quite a number of great ones out there to choose from.
