TL;DR: any leads on what’s available at Hunger Mt. co-op in Montpelier these days?

my sister in law is planning to stop in real quick for me tomorrow on a trip through VT. I’ll ask her to pick up any Alchemist she can... but what does their beer selection look like these days? Any new stuff I should get? I need to be specific or she’ll come back with Longtrail (which is fine, but I could get that anywhere.)

I used to stand in line on Thursdays for my Heady back in the day like the rest of you animals, but it’s been a couple years since I’ve been there.

I’m in MA so I’m pretty spoiled with Lawson’s/Zero Gravity/BBC distro, even Frost and Foley occasionally.

anything you think I should try please lmk!

I did, and a lot of the regular stuff if there, but if you check their social media you see other drops and things like “in store only.”

Gotcha. Sounds like you'll need to be glued to their social media then.
Yeah. I'm a regular around here.

I haven’t been in a while but based on what is easily available in the burlington area I would say he following should be sitting on the shelf:
Heady, focal, lawsons- little sip chinookerd maple nips, bunch of foam stuff, black flannel all their stuff is good, tens bends cream puff war or northern height, upper pass ipas, River roost mas verde(really anything from them), green empire ipas, also lots of good 3f bottles around

Does it have to be Hunger Mountain? CBC Waterbury is maintaining a Google Doc of their inventory for curbside orders.

    I appreciate it.
Unfortunately, Montpelier is as far north as she’s going, and has no interest in beer. She knows where Hunger Mt is, so I’m taking what I can get.

...though if Hill Farmstead weren’t on hiatus I might send her up to the Northeast Kingdom.

this is pretty spot on. I was in Hunger Mtn Coop about 3 weeks ago and they had all of these, except I don't believe there was any River Roost. But you'll find heady/focal, a variety of lawsons, upper pass, ten bends, foam, etc. They lean significantly more IPA/DIPA than in years past, so don't expect to find crazy bottles (I haven't seen Backacre there in several years). Although they seem to always have 3F OG and A&G.
