Heading to NG tomorrow, just wondering if anyone knows what special releases are available. I know the IIPA should be there now. I've heard the R&D Golden Ale is still available. Anything else?

Trying to work out a trade or two so want to know what I can pick up for some people.

I'm waiting to see what their next thumbprint is, might be their saison, before I go. Other than that, I'd stock up a few cases of Dancing Man.

I was in the NG/Madison area 2weeks ago. Plenty of moon man, black top, raspberry tart, wis cherry, and IIPA. If you hit up Steve's they still had cherry stout and some uffda bock.

nothing out of the ordinary. stocked up on Golden Ale, IIPA and Black Top. was hoping to find barleywine, but no luck.

I did find out they are working on a new batch of Enigma though! and there is a good chance they will do Cranbic again!

yeah, I was stoked. asked about Old English Porter, but they said that was probably a one-time deal. but the news about Enigma makes it ok.

I would of passed on the golden ale if I were you. Hopefully you didn't buy to many. On the other hand, good news about enigma and cranbic. Thanks for sharing!

To each there own. It's been brought up in other threads, and it was a 50/50 split on the brew.

I've had it a few times in the past year. I like it, but wasn't blown away by it. But its almost out. They said what they had in their bottle shop is the end of it. So I wanted to grab some to age for a couple years. So we'll see.

I liked the R&D Golden Ale. It's exactly what it says it is. Crisp, light, bit of funk. Reminds me of Oro De Calabaza from JP. Maybe not quite on that level, but a pretty good refreshing, light bodied, funky beer. I'd be interested to see what it's like after 2 or 3 years, see how the yeast keeps on-a-workin.

I liked it too though I'd say it was much less funky than Oro de Calabaza - but from what I've heard the flavor profile varied by bottle.

I only had one bottle but I'd like to grab another one to see if it tastes different than the one I bought in February.

Plus the bottle is cool looking
