I'm making my first beer using only homegrown hops.. A low gravity American Bitter, using 2oz of the Nugget hops I harvested. (and a pinch of columbus) Cheers brewers.

Brewing another version of my New Albion clone. Last time was all 2-row, with a half pound of crystal-20 tossed in. 2/3 oz cascade hops each at 60, 30 and 5. This time I'm doing half and half Maris otter and 2-row, with half of C-40. An ounce of m Homegrown Newport hops for buttering at 60. Ounce each cascade at 15 - 20 and at 5. California ale yeast.
Got an Oktoberfest going this afternoon. It's a spur of the moment brew so this one's from an ingredient kit, Brewer's Best. Water is about ready to add the grains. As I'm brewing this Oktoberfest, I'm drinking some Paulaner Oktoberfest. Also have a whole chicken on the smoker for dinner for tonight.
I'm getting ready to do a Maibock. It's a forgiving style because if it sticks around for long enough it becomes an Oktoberfest beer.
